ABOUT ME

I am a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the École centrale school of Engineering, Mahindra University (previously known as mahindra École centrale), Hyderabad, India

My research is in the area of theoretical solid mechanics. Some topics are elasticity theory, dynamic fracture and friction, wave propagation, computational mechanics, high performance computing and earthquake source mechanics. I have been selected as a Senior Associate of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy for the period 1/2023 to 12/2028.

My research work is supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India and the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), India.
